Me”

Author Eric Gross and his ambitious 364 page book Liberation From The Lie is a clarion call to humanity, encouraging each and everyone of us to rediscover our uniqueness, pursue our long ignored dreams and return to the heroic path for which we were destined. While his message is contemporary and relevant his frame of reference is predominantly Buddhist with an eclectic fusion of traditions (spiritual and otherwise) that prove once again that the really important truths have always been known, we just need to be reminded of them every generation or so.

Delving into the complex, inner workings of the psyche is no easy task for most authors, they either lose their audience in profundity or resort to shallow cliché and catch phrases. Eric Gross does neither. His ideas flow gently and gracefully across the printed page taking the reader on an highly personal voyage inward peeling the layers of pretense and facade with a grace and craftsmanship that is truly inspiring.

Are you ready to rise above the morass of conventional wisdom and discover a new way of understanding yourself, the world around you and what you’re here to accomplish? Are you prepared to wake up and return to the heroic journey we are all called to? If you are ‘Liberation From The Lie’ is the book for you!

Eric Gross is the author of Liberation from the Lie.

Eric was the recipient of the NASA Fellowship in Remote Sensing, as well as the United States Department of Justice Fellowship in Criminal Justice. His many years of affiliation with the Dinè (Navajo) Peacemaking Division was an outcome of this Fellowship. You can see his US Department of Justice report here and more of his professional writings here. The vision of Liberation, as described and taught in this book, is based on many years studying and practicing Zen Buddhism with an Asian master, many years working with Navajo (Dinè) traditional healers, and real-world application of these ideas from an awakened perspective. All of the principles of Liberation from the Lie have been rigorously tested and you are invited to test them in your own life. The goals of Liberation are those of healing the wounded spirit, re-connecting with the life source, seeing through our identities with inadequacy, and finding the love and passion that we are here to express.

    Eric:
You’ve been very busy! The blog looks different again. I get used to things a certain way, so it’s unsettling when it changes, but I respect your desire to improve it. I like the typography. Frankly, I can’t remember how it was! Just that I liked it then too.

I looks like you’ve disabled comments, but I never saw any comments collecting anyway.

    I really appreciate your blog.

Congratulations on being chosen #3 in the 10 highest Scoring Spiritual Enlightenment Books.

      Thank you.
      I really appreciate your comment.
And, I really must apologize for changing the theme of the blog so often. It’s a bit of an obsession that just need to let go of. It has been challenging to find just the best look in a theme that has all the features that I would like for this blog.
I really like the typography of this theme, but it has one important limitation that I’m hoping the develop will correct. So, I have to warn you that there may be at least one more theme change coming.
Comments are not disabled on this blog. I just receive very few of them.
All the best and thank you again for your comment.

Eric, your paypal donate link just takes me to the main paypal page and not to a page specific to donating to your account. Can I just use eric@liberationfromthelie.com for the account? Just drop this comment when you read this I guess. Just wanted to let you know somehow. –Allen

Wow, how strange, but I corrected the problem. Thank you Allen for bringing that to my attention. I am most grateful!!!

  3. I saw your interview on ConsciousTV one of the most authentic and true for me
(impactfull) interviews EVER . Seeking petered out in 2008 or 2009 but the
laughter and ease that comes when the cardboard construct of me is dismantled
continues. I have no more problem with the NeoAdvaita non-dual stuff. I am
singing my own song at last.….. Thank you Eric Harriet Hilker

    Hi Eric,
I’d say I’ve been seeking since I’ve been about 12 (30 years ago! ) after reading Carlos Castaneda, then getting into yoga etc and the last few years interested just in non dual teachings.

Anyway I just wanted to say I really connected with your intelligent clear interview on Conscious TV.
No Bullshit and bang on the money.

I really resonate with your whole expression of this
and it’s great to see someone who is authentically expressing it.

For me it was one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen on this matter.

You’ve helped me to make the connection from seeker to finder and I’m looking forward to reading your book,
    Cheers
    Brad. (UK)

      Thank you Brad.

Much of the structure of Liberation from the Lie was based on my direct experiences on the Navajo (Dine) Nation, which showed my how invalidation and the withdrawal of love or the conditional offer of love was not only the source of seeking, but also was the source of interpersonal violence, substance abuse, and the religion’s mission to transcend the challenges of daily living.

Thank you for your very kind words.
