OK, I Get the Enlightenment Thing. Now How Should I Act?

green-question-markNo one acts. Only thoughts can pretend to act. They are the masquerade.

The question, “how should I act?” rarely arises, because the question, itself, presumes a future actor involved in a projected situation. Both are beliefs. Any projection about the future must be of a psychological nature. This is seen and in that seeing it is understood as a belief culled from an old and needy narrative. Even fully realized people experience projection, because we are within a body and a mind. But, for the most part, it ceases ever to be a problem.

This seeing of realization reveals that there is just this now. This! There can never be a valid concern about how to act, because the projected situation only exists within the psychological nature. It is no reality in the non-fear-based world.

The fear-based self believes that its choices are real. This moment has no choice. If anything, it has chosen you, you haven’t chosen it. But that really isn’t true. It just is and this is the oneness.

Do you really want to become one with everything? Then this moment is the only portal to that place. What to know the best part? You’re already there!

What else is there?

What about the intent of doing “good”? Doesn’t the realized person (as if there could be such a person!) know exactly what good thing to do in this moment? In a way they do, but without the notion of doing “good”. When there is only this moment, no concept or belief can be shown to be real.

Doing the right thing, or doing good is a psychological construction. Ideas about bad and good are always (without exception) beliefs. We cannot know what is bad and good. They are concepts - beliefs. Don’t concern yourself, in any way, with such beliefs.

This moment just is - as is the next moment, and the next. What the body/mind does in the moment is already established by the moment itself.

It is not not ME who is open to this moment. That is an error. There is only this moment. Me is a projection - the same projection that feels compelled to ask the questions about the future.

Any question about the future is an overlay. What it overlays is insecurity. The “I” is worried about what to do, how to be. This is what insecurity is all about. Only the false-self can ever be insecure. Nature is never insecure. Only human beings concern themselves with illusion and belief.

Let the feeling arise as it must. It is a part of the moment. Who cares? Who could care?

Enlightenment can only happen in this moment. Who could ever be enlightened or not enlightened? Enlightenment is always here .- it’s only the belief in its absence, a belief made possible through the psychological self, that blocks its realization, that keeps the false believed as true.

Thus it is, exclusively, belief that keeps the structure of the psychological self in place.

It is a lie - made possible and nurtured by vague, underlying fear. Realization is seeing the falseness of the underlying fear.

Every moment takes care of itself perfectly. Enough said.
