You Can Awaken Because I Awakened

Some­thing unex­pected hap­pen on the morn­ing of New Years 2012. Per­fect clar­ity man­i­fested within me.

It was early morn­ing and I was lay­ing in bed beside my wife. I heard her breath­ing, in and out and it reminded me of waves on a beach, rush­ing in and going out. It also reminded me of the per­fect har­mony of the sea­sons. In spring the Earth is reborn, an event mir­rored in Autumn when it begins to go into its long Win­ter rest, itself mir­rored by the full flow­er­ing of Summer.

I had pon­dered the words of Krish­na­murti and many other philoso­phers about the rela­tion­ship between aware­ness of an object with that of the seer for many years. This became clear to me on this morning.

And then it all became clear. I real­ized that awak­en­ing, con­trary to the state­ments of many, is not a mat­ter of grace, but of some­thing far more tan­gi­ble, although very difficult.

I real­ized that there are two laws to clar­ity. They are:

• that the extent of one’s depen­dence on belief is directly pro­por­tional to one’s iden­ti­fi­ca­tion with lack; and,
• the seer, the seen, and the process of see­ing are entirely of the body and it is the body that is the story-teller.

I can­not com­mu­ni­cate this real­iza­tion through my blog. I can only do it directly and even then I’m not sure whether it can be done.

So I will only pass this real­iza­tion and the path to it through con­sul­ta­tions.

If you think I’m doing this for finan­cial reward, then think that. Who am I to stop you? If you refuse to sac­ri­fice for this real­iza­tion, then you would just be a beg­gar demand­ing that what oth­ers had toiled for you want for noth­ing. What you get for noth­ing you will fail to value.

While the teach­ing may result in some tran­scen­dence of what we may have thought of as the “per­sonal” in our expe­ri­ence, it is utterly per­sonal and direct in its trans­mis­sion. This is why it can’t really work as a blog post. I would demean it and make it irrel­e­vant were I to try putting it into words for everyone.

But more than any­thing else it is NOT a mat­ter of words. Words are, in fact, an obsta­cle to full under­stand­ing, but they are the por­tal to understanding.

A teach­ing crafted for the masses is not this type of teach­ing. This is not for the masses. It is for you. And very, very few of you will under­stand. Nearly every­one is hun­gry for a bet­ter belief, a bet­ter “me”. There are many peo­ple who will give that away. Go to them. They are eas­ily found.

To under­stand this you need to be will­ing to give up every­thing. Many will say they want only to sac­ri­fice, but when it comes to under­stand­ing, they will resist with all their might. This teach­ing is not for them.
